Lords Spiritual
For every 30 members in a subdivision, they may select a Bishop. For every three Bishops (90 people), they may select an Archbishop. For every three Archbishops (270 people), they may select a Cardinal. This is called a "Diocesan" Cardinal to differentiate it from the "Titular" Cardinal, which is the title for a retired Patriarch.

In the general Order of Precedence, the Patriarch ranks immediately in precedence after the Heirs to the Imperial Crown. The Patriarch is the Head of the Church of Adria and is the highest Lord Spiritual. The Patriarch (or Matriarch) is addressed as "Your Holiness" and is styled, "His Holiness, the Patriarch of Adria". All members of the Imperial Family are considered to be speciales domestici parochiani pontifex Adricorii, the parishioners of the Patriarch.
Diocesan Cardinals rank in precedence immediately after all Royal (Kingdom) Crowns, as a group in order by the date of the founding of their Diocese (the consecration of the first Cardinal for their Diocese), but walk immediately behind the King of the Kingdom which they serve.
Titular Cardinals rank in precedence immediately after all Diocesan Cardinals, ranked as a group by the date of their consecration.
Archbishops rank in precedence after all Archducal and Ducal Crowns, ranked as a group by the date of the founding of their Diocese (the consecration of the first Archbishop for their Diocese), and walk immediately behind the Crown which they serve, and immediately behind any Cardinals (Diocesan or Titular) in their own subdivision.
Bishops and Abbots rank in precedence after Barons, ranked as a group by the date of the founding of their Diocese (the consecration of the first Bishop for their Diocese), but walk immediately behind the Estate which they serve, no matter what its rank.
Monsignors rank in precedence after all Knights First Level, but walk immediately behind any Bishops they serve.
Priests, Friars, Monks, Nuns, and Laity all rank in precedence with the general population, but members of religious orders may walk in precedence as a group behind the Head of their Order.
