Confused by what to name your brand-new Subdivision? Want to do something other than the stereotypical "Misty Valley of the Unicorns" translated into Welsh?

Well, here's a solution for you!

Below is a table with six different major European regions. In each region's category are Period names for areas within them. These are not necessarily the Period *spellings* for these areas; rather, they are the modern spellings since this is a VERY rough draft! Names in parentheses are the modern English translations of the name in the original language.

How did I compile this list? Very simple - I looked at maps of Europe in Period and picked out some major names. I also looked at those major areas that were armigerous (had coats of arms assigned to them). I also (for England) looked at the lists of Peerages that had been given out in Period.
